Personally, I HATE the top blue gradient, and the logo itself. However, the pattern on the bottom is absolutely stunning. It’s like ok, let’s try to make this ridiculous name and logo cool somehow.

Alice in Wonderland Beauty Products

Created to coincide with last year’s release of Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, this beautifully designed packaging for beauty products are made to tell a story of each character. Check out the Red Queen Collection and the POS design after the jump!

“Challenge: To create a line of bath products to coincide with Tim Burton’s release of Alice in Wonderland.

Action: The overall concept needed to be story-driven, focusing on the Red Queen, the White Queen, Alice and the Mad Hatter. In order to achieve this, each character presented it’s own “story,” which consisted of a scent, a colour palette, stylized typography and certain vintage elements. Odd, twisted details were added for that Tim Burton flair.

Role: Collaboration with Smart Brands and Disney. The patterns and illustrations were provided by Disney. I worked closely with Disney to develop the concept, which was also heavily inspired by Tim Burton. I worked on pulling the elements together, copy, typography, layout and final production.”
